Glide Along to The Best of Paris
See it all in one, enjoyable ride…glide along the waterfront, cruise curated medieval backstreets, see it from the best angles curated by local history- and-culture-‘virtuosas’ who know these places like the back of their, uh camemberts…?
A tremendous way to start your trip. This is two experiences in one!
Tour companies in Paris generally require you to book two separate tours to see all of the sights we see in one ride, as their overly-large groups are bogged down in traffic and must use roads that can accommodate crowds.
Because our groups are small, and our route carefully thought-out to avoid most of what the tour groups cannot, we can relax, avoiding traffic and busy thoroughfares, to sneak up on stunning monuments and some unexpected sights as well.
All at a leisure-pace with stops about every 10 minutes…
Small Group Energy
We created this ride for visiting friends–we cruise by as the best of Paris’ sights glitter via charming little passages + bike lanes, little backstreets, the storied Seine river…the Best of Paris in one unforgettable ride!
Our small, convivial, group of 10 maximum (except if booked privately) zigs + zags to more sights, more interesting little corners…than can be navigated w/a 25-person Tour Group like the big tour operators!
Our tiny band of bikers begin in Le Marais, where we share the best ice cream in Paris (hot chocolate in winter) with our fellow travelers, then on to the bizarre history of sights such as:
✰ Notre Dame,
✰ St. Chapelle,
✰ Latin Quarter,
✰Tuileries Gardens,
✰ Arc de Triomphe,
✰ Alexandre III Bridge,
✰ Invalides + Dome Church,
✰ Marie Antoinette’s prison + French Revolution Square,
✰ Grand + Petit Palais
✰ Académie Française,
✰ Napoleon’s Tomb,
✰ Musee d’Orsay
✰ the Champs-Elysees
✰ Paris’ oldest church + medieval ruins
✰ A delicious French Crepe
✰ A memorable glide through inner grounds of Louvre.
✰We celebrate with our new tribe in front of the Eiffel Tower after a leisurely- and breezy- ride along the waterfront.
Ride into a Paris Sunset
Includes a stop to taste the best ice cream in Paris
We do not keep child bikes on hand for the published event, so please message us directly about booking a children’s tour
Good to Know
Guests ages 13 and up can attend, up to 10 guests total. We can accommodate larger groups, up to 40, if booked privately.
You must be confident riding a bike to enjoy this ride. The pace is leisure (not the Tour de France!) You should be able to ride a bike at a leisure pace for 2.5 hours of the (approximately) 3.5 to 4 hour experience.
For children’s experiences, please reach out directly as we do not have child sized bikes for the scheduled experience but we may be able to organize a separate ride with child bikes.
Prefer to ride in the daytime? We offer daytime rides as well.
The leisurely-paced riding will be punctuated by many stops to see the sights and hear witty and irreverent commentary.
We will stick to bike lanes and quiet back streets as much as possible, as safety is a priority. We provide reflectives at night, and we will follow the safest routes available.
What to bring
It is recommended to have a snack or dinner, if possible, before the evening ride. We meet outside a tea salon if you would like to come early and chill + eat something. They are closed Sundays. Bring cash if you would like to purchase a French crepe at the stand along the way as they do not take cards.
Please dress for the weather as we ride rain or shine but Paris is beautiful in the rain. We do not provide helmets.
